Incoming cirrus spreading in front of an approaching low resulted in this sundogged sunset. I rushed home from work to capture the event, but only managed to grab its tail.

Today's sunset reflected off Tesuque Peak in the southern Sangre de Cristo mountains. You can see why they're called the Blood of Christ.
